5.0 out of 5 stars. Good fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tom from California on Sunday, October 29, 2017I used these in Peru and Ecuador on the Galápagos Islands. True to fit for an 11.5. Comfortable right out of the box. Being waterproof was an asset hiking.

5.0 out of 5 stars. great shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Krista from central illinois on Wednesday, July 19, 2017felt good right out of the box. true to size. I walked through some morning dew and my feet stayed dry, however I have not tested them in rain or walking through a creek yet. The week after I got them we went on a little trip where I wore these shoes all day, everyday and even did a mild 5mile hike everyday, and the shoes felt great.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Inconsistent sizes, Merrel!Verified Buyer Reviewed by zmikebooth from Oklahoma on Tuesday, July 4, 2017Bought a size 10.5 two years ago and love them. Bought a new pair this year of the Moab of the same size but they were much smaller and narrower (even the molded sole), and returned them. Went to the store and found two 10.5's, same item number, and one fit perfectly and one was two small and narrow. Makes it difficult to buy mail order, but I love the shoes.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfort and gripVerified Buyer Reviewed by weekend warrior from Winston Salem on Sunday, June 18, 2017Purchased just prior to a trip to Acadia and was only able to wear on a 7 mile day hike once before going. They were very comfortable from the first wear and felt secure on the rocks with good grip. Did wear once in a shallow stream and the waterproof feature seemed to work well. They were a bit hot, but my feet always seem to get hot in any shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable straight from boxVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from TN on Wednesday, June 7, 2017Hiking shoes should be broken in, but Moabs have always been comfortable upon arrival. They are also great for people with narrow heels, such as myself, where most other shoes allow heel slippage.
