Merrell New Delhi Sandals - Leather (For Men)

Have, and really like, the slide version of this for around the house, so tried this strapped version for longer summer walking excursions. Like it very much! The sandle is well made, with good soles and pretty solid upper over the forefoot. Agree with reviewers stating that the ankle strap is thinner. Do not agree that this is a problem, as the strap only needs to hold the shoe sole in place when walking, and it does - no toe curling needed, no worry about sole slipping out from underfoot in any direction. Agree with STP that half sizes order down (sz 9 fits my 9 1/2 foot well on both versions).

The sandals are stylish and comfortable. No arch support but they are nice sandals.

If you had them in brown also I would have bought 2 pr! The strapless version - does that come in brown? If so, send it to me! ASAP! This way I can have 2 pr to change off.

They're nice, well-made, comfortable sandals. I wish the stitching wasn't visible; they would look a little more stylish.

I purchased these because I wanted a nice pair of nicer sandals without velcro. I've only worn this pair one day, but they were comfortable, lightweight, and looked nice. They don't have a lot of support, so I don't think I'd wear them for days I was doing a lot of walking. But overall a good pair of sandals.

Will last a long time.

I love Merrell shoes. They are my favorite brand because they are the best-made and most comfortable shoes, in my opinion. I have a pair of Merrell leather sandals that I bought from STP about 7 years ago. They are nubuck leather in the upper and foot bed. They are the best sandals I've ever owned, period. It was time to replace them so I bought these. The difference could not be more stark. These sandals have an extremely odd hump in the sole under my heel which makes standing still very odd and foot falls ever weirder. The foot bed material doesn't cradle and hold your foot like the nubuck leather of the old Merrell. My foot slides all over the sandal which is really annoying. I'm keeping them as an emergency pair but they are really annoying compared to the old Merrells. I'll just wait until the next version of Merrell sandals is released and try those then. In the meantime, I'll continue wearing my 7-year-old, favorite sandals ever.

Bought these for our trip to Florida. They were comfortable right out of the box, with no blisters. Leather is nice and soft, but durable. Too bad the Florida weather was cold in February, or I would have gotten more use out of them!
