Merrell Outland Hiking Boots - Waterproof (For Women)

Great, comfortable hiking boots.

Have used these in the snow until I got new snow boots. They did a good job, keeping my feet warm and dry.

I have become a bif fan of Merrell shoes and my recent purchase of these hiking boots continues the love affair. I have previously only bought Scarpas but have to say I am a convert. Great advice from a previous buyer about going up a size, glad I did, allows me to wear warmer socks in winter. comfortable, durable, very usable shoe.

I wore these hiking at Rocky Mountains, Colorado. They're comfortable, have great traction and stayed dry in the snow and water (but not fully immersed water). They were warm and secure as I climbed up and over boulders; no blisters or raw skin from hiking in them. I'm happy with these. I bought half a size larger to accmomodate thick wool socks.

I should have known better and ordered a larger size but took the chance! I'm a perfect 9 and these were short in the toe area. Order at least 1/2 size larger. Very nice looking boot.

This hiking boot is fantastic! Great heel and ankle support. Very comfortable, good cushion. I had no time for breaking in boots before a rugged mountian hiking trip. Boots were prefect. If I were to make any criticism it is to request that Merrell make size 11.5 boots for women -- the extra 1/2 size may have fit even beter.

The boots work and feel great. They boot is a little bulkier than we imagined. Overall it is a great boot for the value.

I have a bad back and hips. Merell Womens Boots are the only shoe that I have found that does not cause me pain. I went from being able to stand for 2 hours to 10 hours. about 6 months ago, I bought a pair of Merell's from another online retailer, I did not realize that they sent me mens boots. I wore them for a few months and my back started hurting really bad. I ordered two new pair from Sierra and used the size on the 'men's' boot which was a size 8.5, I got the new womens boots, which were too small. I took them to the local Sierra store and had no problem exchanging them. They did not have my size in stock, so the salesman found the only size 10 in the companies whole inventory and had them shipped to me. Not only did I get my boots but really great service!

I bought these boots a half a size bigger. They fit great. I love them.

Good fit,comfortable for walking with good traction on slopes. The only drawback was the size. I had to return the boots to get 1/2 size bigger. Interesting since I bought a pair of hiking/walking shoes - same brand - where my normal size fit perfectly.
