    I bought one pair and loved them so then I purchased another in the same size but a different color....these came and felt differently in the toe area, a little too small. Also the holes in the strap were not punched through. The marks were there but I did not want to deal with punching them through myself so I returned those...kept the first pair and will be happy with those.

    My feet love Merrell shoes. They fit. They're comfortable. They have style that adapts to just about anything I might want to do - except attend a fancy ball - but I don't want to do that! I might have almost as many Merrell shoe boxes as Merrell does....most from STP....

    These are cute in person! Don't look or feel clunky like Danskos Mary Jane styles. Black on black looks dressy enough for teaching, but I can walk/stand all day. A small wedge heel gives you a little height, which is nice, too. I love the bottom on these shoes, they also fit my custom orthodic inserts, which is amazing! Had to size up 1/2 size, usually in Merrell (even others in similar style) I wear 8.5, in these, I had to exchange for a 9.

    very useful in a profession where I need to dash from playground to formal meetings: they are sturdy enough to chase children and climb on slides and still pass as semi-dressy in the meetings.

    Stylish yet comfortable- my only worry is that these shoes are a tad bit snug.....and I will have to wear think socks with them next fall when colder weather comes. Otherwise, they are very attractive. Also bought them in black.
