Most Helpful 3-Star Review
Reviewed by BoottheBoot from Upstate NY on Wednesday, September 25, 2013Very comfortable, but no wool collar. It is actually fake fur - of pretty low quality. The boot itself is gorgeous. I did not have the problem with the ankle and zipper mentioned by the other reviewer. There is also absolutely no arch support. It is really a toss up for me as to whether or not I'll keep it. The boot really should have been made with a higher quality "fur" accent.
Reviewed by Unknown from Virginia on Tuesday, July 30, 2013I don't need a bootie (where snow and wet can get in), yet I don't need a super tall boot either. I find with my ankles that if the zipper isn't sturdy enough a boot will "fold" and rub on my ankles. This is what I experienced with these so I sent them back. They are cute and look sturdy though and seemed to provide enough calf room for larger calfs like mine. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than normal to be safe. I just knew they wouldn't work for me. Wish I could've known that before paying shipping to and from Sierra Trading Post :(
Question & Answer
This is what Merrell suggests. Cleaning|On a regular basis, brush away any surface dirt with a soft brush. After extended, rugged use, wash with mild soap and warm water. Be sure to rinse all soap off as it is hydrophilic.||Drying|Open footwear fully, remove the insole and laces and dry at room temperature. Never expose to heat!||Conditioning|Recommended treatment depends on construction and materials of the footwear (most treatments do alter color and appearance).
