    I bought these boots because a trusted friend, who owns an athletic shoe store, said, for hiking, he wears nothing but Merrell boots. He said they run small so I tried several pairs on at a local store before I placed my order and found that a whole size larger than my street shoes fit perfectly. These boots are very comfortable. And they were a great deal.
