Merrell Siren Metro Shoes - Lace-Ups (For Women)

I ADORE these shoes....wish they were still available in my size, I'd buy a 2nd pair!

Merrills usually fit me well and perform well for my uses. These were extremely comfortable right out of the box. Color (red) is much more subdued than I feared, more of a brownish burgundy, which greatly pleased & relieved me! I'm using the shoes for agility, obedience, and herding dog sports (indoors mainly, also on grass and not-too-rocky ground), as well as casual weekend wear--areas where they are doing quite well so far; I cannot yet address longevity. These shoes have enough support and cushioning for my activities, but I doubt they would work well for actual hiking or really rough, rock-climb terrain. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the shoes, especially at the price.

A size 7 Merrell is usually a sure thing. This great little shoe is small and narrow and bummer: I've got to return it.

I have arthritis in my feet. The first time I wore these shoes hiking we did some difficult climbing. My feet were happy all day. No stopping to relieve pain. Whee!

What a waste of my money. will return them

Everyday wear. Casual comfortable.

I needed shoes to wear with my new orthotics for walking, hiking, general wear. Bought a green pair, and liked them so much I bought a burgundy pair too. They offer lots of support, a slightly stiff sole, fit with my orthotics (my only shoes that do), and look great with jeans too. They are a bit hot in hot weather, being all leather, but otherwise I love them!

Good low-top hiker.

Wore these shoes on very rocky terrain and can report absolutely no leg, hip or any other walking-related pain. However, they are not particularly good-looking.

Wore them to work Friday. Feel great.
