Merrell Siren Nitro Hiking Shoes (For Women)

I was disappointed in the way this shoe fit. It made my feet angle inward, rather than giving me a solid footing. I returned them.

Merrell makes great shoes for women. I also have a pair of the higher ankle ones. They are very comfortable for working and walking in. I own and run a farm and am constantly on my feet and working out of doors. These are great for me. Only down side is getting the "farm dirt" (aka manure) our of the treads before I head out to the more civilized world. Currently I am keeping one pair for farm use and one for wearing off the farm so I don't get dirty looks at the grocery store.

This is a great shoe that seems comfy enough for my spoiled cowgirl feet to wear on a daily basis. They are not heavy, good tread, stable, well made and I like the color. My husband had chosen another pair that he liked better from the picture but when these arrived he quickly changed his mind, especially when he saw the Vibram soles.

These shoes make me feel supported while I walk, while still comfortable. The quality can be felt with every step. I can wear them all day .

These were very comfortable and had good traction, without bulk, exactly what I was looking for for 6-8 mile day hikes witout a pack. Some reviews felt they ran big and suggested a half size smaller, but the size 11 seemed to run true to size (which unfortunately meant that my toes still banged on the downhill so I won't be using these for hikes with a lot of elevation changes).
