Merrell Snowmotion 8 Zip-Front Boots - Waterproof (For Men)

I needed a low boot that was warm, easy to get on and off and with traction for icy city weather. I looked at dozens of different types. I stopped looking when I found these. I did get a 1/2 size larger than street shoes for an easy slip in with fuzzy socks.

I got this boot just in time for a big noreaster storm, a lot of shoveling and outside work in 22inches of snow, the boot exceeded my expectations. Easy on/off no hassle boot that is the warmest boot I have ever owned. I would recommend it to older & younger folks

Great boots. Got to make sure zipper tab is down, or they will un-zip quickly. Other then that, they are great for any winter outdoor activity.

Never had a chance, tested in home & zipper kept unzipping. I would buy it in laces.

I bought these boots thinking they would be a great buy for winter snow and slush. I bought true size 8 for my normal shoe size with a cotton sock. I couldn't get the boot on without some difficulty and zipping it up was out of the question. The boot is very narrow and fit more like a ski boot then a winter shoe/boot. I am sad to say I am returning these for a PAC style boot. Good looking but too good to be true. They might might fit with a dress sock but who goes out in the snow hiking walking in a dress sock.:(

I've seen many reviews about faulty zipper. NOT TRUE.There is a trick to it. 1)Zip up boot 2)Fold zipper tab in the down position 3)Then give the zipper base a slight tug upwards and you'll feel a click. THEN YOUR GOLDEN!!! I would rather use these boot's instead of my Merrell slippers when I'm watching TV in the bedroom.

Tricky zipper but it locks well.
