    I am a Smartwool trekker socks person. Wanted to replace two (2) pair that a visiting Border Collie used as chew toys. But no Smartwool avail in thick enough format. So tried these. They are GREAT! soft, thick warm. Am a HJappy Camper. Meggie will NEVER ever see these!

    expected performance from Merrell, got an average wool sock that I could have gotten in a 3 pack from [@]. Not very fitted, so they slide down and bunch. Stick with the Point 6 (love-em!) or Smartwools unless you want an expensive house sock!
