    used it when I went snow shoeing and it kept my feet warm throughout the trek. they're very comfortable for long walks and aesthetically pleasing. it's also prized way below value for Merrels. I consider one of the best deals I got from Sierra Trading

    Overall a well made boot that so far has been durable. The only downside and it is a big one, is that I would just barely consider them a boot. They don't come up much higher than the ankle, which is a poor design if you plan on using them in snow or mushy snow puddles. Unless you like a low boot and don't mind the hassle of wearing gators they could be right for you. Not for me.

    These are my snowshoeing boots and they work well though they are a shorter boot and gaitors are highly reccomended. I often where a size 13 but my feet can be a little wide for some and I bought the size 14 which seem to fit pretty well so far.
