    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    These boots were stiff and awkward to walk in. The zipper sticks and that's before getting it covered with snow. The boots are snug and I have narrow feet. I'm disappointed since I have many other Merrell shoes and boots and they're all wonderful. They're going back.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    The soles do not bend at all when you walk. They are like boards. I cannot even bend them with my hands. Also too snug for my very wide feet with thick socks. Obviously well made, very nice insulation—so maybe I could wear them with thinner socks. But for me, the stiff sole makes it difficult to walk. It's a deal-breaker. They're going back.
