“The outdoorsy animal hide look gives them added character over your average casual slip on. The sole isn't as thick as other Merrells, but raised "pebble pads" on the bottom give extra clearance & traction. They aren't really cold weather shoes however. As most Merrell casuals the footbed is pretty flat, so an insert is good for higher arches. Probably not a good option for "thick" feet though. A rustic-look quality casual shoe overall.”
