Mezlan Volpe Shoes - Oxfords (For Men)

Very nice shoes, great price, however I wanted a more stylish look.

This shoe needs more time to break in compared to any other brand of shoe I have had before. At first it's very stiff, but in time it becomes more comfortable.

I really enjoy the shoes. I have always wore Mezlans and once again I have been not disappointed.

Mezlan makes a quality product and these shoes are no exception.

great for formal outfits and going out, but be careful on carpet, slick bottoms

This is a good, very comfortable, stylish shoe. It is very scuff resistent too. It is not of the same quality as Alden, Allen Edmonds or the English bunch, but it is also 1/4 the price. It is defently higher quality then your Stacy Adams or Bostonian shopes. On par with Johnston Murphy, but more stylish. I decided I'd rather pay 1/4 the price and trade my shoes every couple of years, then waer the same pair for 10 years.

These shoes look great. You can definitely tell the difference between European-made dress shoes and most American-made ones. These are a true bargain, and the only fault that I can really find is that the soles are leather, and come with a slick fake-wood coating (come on, really?) on them, which makes you slip and slide around on carpet til it wears off. Haven't you heard of rubber, Mezlan? People hardly see the soles of shoes anyway. I don't think it spoils the "classic" look.
