    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    the battery went dead after I had it two weeks and since you can't remove the back cover without special tools I had to spend $17 getting someone at the watch store to replace the battery.

    The band is hard to adjust: the pins holding the band links together are a bit fragile so its hard to remove and re-installed after removing links. Its easy to view the time and appears to be fairly rugged like my Wenger Swiss Army watch, but at a lower cost. We will see if holds up like my Wenger which lasted 10 hard years without trouble.

    I ordered this watch from a catalog and it was pictured in the women's wear section, with women's clothing and accessories. Said no where in the description that it is a MENS watch, and it is HUGE. The dimensions listed don't match the actual watch I received. I returned it. If you're a Man looking for a huge, chunky watch this looks okay. But would you look in the women's section of the catolog? I don't think so.
