“Remarkable design”

“I was surprised at the robust design of this thermos. While looking for a compact thermos for my small Melita coffee maker, this was offered to me [...] It is perfect for my needs. I now turn the heating element of the electric maker off when brewing is done and put almost two cups in the thermos with the balance in my coffee cup. I don't know how much energy this saves but the coffee has a consistent taste to the bottom of the thermos, rather than getting bitter when it sits on the heating element. One minor issue / caveat ... you need to pay attention to the moveable part of the stopper and periodically tighten it up. It will work itself loose if you depress the pour spout button and then loosen the top. It took me about ten seconds to figure out how to tighten ... not a flaw, just a design element which needs owner input.”
