    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I take the thermos with me when I plan on being out for a few hours; it's so much nicer than carrying a plastic water bottle. Cold drinks (have not used it yet for hot, since I live in NM and it's summer here!) stay nice and cold, and the size is perfect if you are running around town. For a long trip, I would use the larger size I also purchased.

    I use this thermos for veg/fruit juices after juicing in the morning. It replaces a 12oz plastic container and enjoy having the 16oz stainless steel. The top is easy to use too. I use the teal-colored lid as a reminder to just use for juices and not mix up with my coffee thermos!
