Reviewed by dwall from OK on Sunday, April 14, 2013I haven't got to try this out in the weather but for the money its gonna get used somewhere. It does not feel cheap. It comes with a roll-up hood and a powder skirt (which I found interesting to find on camo) so you could ski/board in this but i'm not sure how well it would breath. I'm thinking it aint gonna breath. Which, btw, I haven't tested the waterproofness (obviously). All in all I think it is a good shell.

Answer The jacket was a specialty made jacket from Superior Garment Co. Since it was not made for US military, but for civilian sales it was produced in China. This jacket is not water proof it is treated with a Durable Water Resistant (DWR) finish.
