I order the coat for a upcoming ski trip in March to Telluride. So I have not used the coat yet. I ordered a large but received an XL. Which ended up being a good thing since the XL fit pretty well and I think the L would of been too small. Please take that into consideration when reviewing my "true to fit" review above. I'm 6'1", 170lbs. The coat did seem to be very tough and waterproof. But it is just a thin outer layer, must be combined with other layers to provide warmth. I did send it back for a return due to the zipper being on the left as for a women's coat. I did email Sierra and ask if it was a man's coat and they confirmed it was in deed a man's coat. So I am waiting for the return of my "Men's" coat and hope to stay very dry on my ski trip.

Great product, A FULL size too small and the listings should be changed. I ordered XL, arrived as "Euro XL, USA L" I wish the sizes listed by Sierra reflected the proper sizing since it's right on the label.

Excellent shell - one of the few shells that has a hood you can stow away. Very high end coat at the best price... Gotta love STP (sierra trading post and/or stone temple pilots - whichever you prefer).

Excellent jacket and great, solid construction. I like the fact that unlike many comparable jackets, this one has both handwarmer pockets and a chest pocket. The only problem that I have with the jacket is that I would prefer it to be a couple of inches longer (the sleeves are fine, I'm referring to the body length). For many users it should not matter - but I like my rain gear to be a little bit longer. Other then that - no complaints. BTW, make sure to order one size bigger. Sierra did not convert European sizing to the US one: so if you're normally M in the US, order L. Hope that helps.
