Most Helpful 4-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by RockMom from Ellettsville, IN on Monday, October 22, 2012This jacket is wonderful - super high quality materials and workmanship. I ordered an XL (14) based upon the measurements given under the sizing tab and the numeric size indicated when I hovered over the alpha-size. It was too big all over. My hips measure 39.5", so I thought an XL would give me room if I wore a sweater. When I got the XL I laid it out and measured it and it is 45" (a size 18!) at the hips. I returned the XL for a Large (listed as a size 12)and that fits much better. The large measures 41.5" (equivalent to a 14)at the hips. The coat is roomy enough for active wear and warm, without being bulky. The sleeves are still a little long, but I am reluctant to try a medium.
- Best Uses: Winter sports
- Cons: Runs Larger Than Listed
- Pros: Lots of pockets, Warm, Water-proof
Verified Buyer Reviewed by cyclegirl from boston, ma on Monday, March 12, 2012Very well made jacket but the length was too short for me. The snow skirt snapped above the waistline...probably perfect if you are a petite; I'm 5'6" so it didn't work for me.
- Best Uses: Skiing and snowboarding
- Cons: Too Short
- Pros: Extremely well made, Great detailing, Great fabric
