    ohhhh boy!!! these are the best money can buy hands down, i walk, rough terrain hike with these through mud,snow, ice, water and streams...as a professional, there is not a boot that comes close to these for sheer comfort and waterproof durability.

    These are great. First day out I practically ran up 4340' Mt. Osceola logging 7.6 miles. No hot spots, and my feet stayed warm enough. These are great for day hikes w/ light loads and ideal for the occasional mixed/ice route as they take step in crampons. Not so great for long hikes with heavy loads as they're 3/4 cut and aren't double boots. Also, not so much a con, but they run really big. I should be a 9 but got an 8 in these...
