great by itself, and very warm under ski shell, compacts very small

Downhill skiing. Great color and quality. Kept me very dry on a very wet snowy day. Not extremely warm but definitely dry. Seemed to run small through arms and chest but I may just need to get used to this fit. The cut and stretch material are easy to move in.

Excellent warmth to weight ratio. Used it under ski jacket to replace the 2 layers I usually wear & was a bit hot. Impressed so far. Haven't used it in any extreme temps yet.

Bought for husband. We had read in another review about the shoe stretching so we got a 9.5 instead of a 10. They haven't stretched yet because he hasn't worn them long enough but they perform really well and seem to be incredibly durable.

This jacket looked great online, and something light and not too puffy was what I wanted for warmer weather. I really tried to like it, but the fabric, although nice and well-made, made a crinkly sound every time you moved when you had it on. It made me very self conscious. Also, in order to get the right fit, I had to order up one size, and that ended up with voluminous sleeves that were long and big in the shoulders. It is a really nice jacket for someone with that type of build who doesn't mind crinkling when they move. I had to return it; but recently got an email from an account executive pointing out precisely how often I returned. This was a big dis-incentive to order from here, even though I love it. But, as I responded to him, that's the deal with online ordering; as carefully as I look at the reviews and descriptions, sometimes you don't know how it will really look, fit and feel until you try it. However, they are evidently now discouraging returns, which is why I may stop ordering from here.

I expected to absolutely love is jacket, as I wanted a transitional lightweight non-bulky jacket the first thing that put me of was the shiny fabric. Then the fit--large in the shoulders and narrow at the hips, which meant that I had to order a larger, when I usually wear a medium or size 6-8. I am 5'6" 135, and don't have big shoulders. The large fit comfortably at e waist/hips, but the shoulders were large. The one thing I couldn't get over was the annoying crinkle of the fabric every time you moved. I don't like noisy clothing, and reluctantly returned this. It compresses quite small, and should be an excellent jacket--well made. The only other thing that. Others me surprised me that it bothered me. It was the different color for part of the zipper, which looks great in the picture. When worn open, it was a bit confusing to look at, depending on what you had on underneath.

This jacket is cool, but too loud and crinkly and kind of sparkly.

I love how this coat rolls up into a little stuff sack. It is very lightweight and the material is great to wear when hiking in the rain or the snow. The hood has great coverage. I love a hood that is a little bigger to keep my head nice and warm!

If you wear at 16W or 18W, these pants will fit.

Ordered 1 full size larger than what I normally wear, I wear a 9 in all my athletic, dress, and casual shoes. The size 10 fit perfect. The BOA lacing system is nearly as fast as slip on shoes. The Vibram sole carries it's own reputation and the traction is great on trail while the rubber is about average on rock, but will lat a long time.
