Millet

I bought this vest to wear under my ski jacket on cold days, and because I love puffy vests. I usually wear larges on top, so I bought both the L and XL, thinking that because it came from a French mountaineering company it would run small. The L fit great, slim enough to wear under my ski jacket, but not too tight. So far it's been great for those chilly spring nights, I can't wait to try it out on the hill.

Great performance in our wet spring. Hood had good coverage without bulk when rolled away. Fits well over a sweater or vest.

Exchanged for next larger size due to European sizing.

I got this jacket to serve as an underlayer for my Millet's Kaolin shell, also from Sierra. This is a very light and thinner down jacket. Contrary to Kaolin, it runs large. The sleeve length is good, on a longer side. I measure 34"-25"-36" in chest, waist and hips respectively, which is US size 4 and Eur 36. This shell is size S was quite large on me. It was not fitting perfectly under my Kaolin shell in size S (it was sticking out at the bottom and was bulky); it was OK but not perfect. XS fits great now; I'll be shipping back the jacket in size S.

This vest is well worth the money! I have 3 Columbia down vests and 2 of them are fairly short in length, this Millet vest fits perfectly down to the hips and isn't too tight around that area! It's warm and very stylish. The teal/water blue is beautiful but it fits so good I may also buy in black! A must for vest wearers!

This is a very versatile sweatshirt. It's warm and lightweight and you'll end up wearing it all the time.

This is a fabulous jacket! Very well made, great fit, very functional. I am glad that I ordered one size up from my normal size.

Very detailed, excellent quality! I like to wear brand names that are not mass produced. The Millet vest is the highest quality vest I have owned so far! I wish that Sierra could acquire more products from this company.

These never set foot out of my house. They fit very strange. It felt like they were different sizes, and also odd in the toebox. Maybe with custom footbeds they'd feel better? The way the tounge laid and how tight I had to lace them to keep my heels from slipping concerned me. I know that I could not have broken-in these boots w/o some extreme pain and suffering and blisters. Returned... Got Scarpa Triolet instead - very happy so far.

Millet product is good quality as I have experienced. I received my purchase from STP with a shock on the color! It was dull red instead of bright red as seem in picture. It was a miss-representation of product[...]
