Love this! Only problem so far is that when the batteries were low, the light wouldn't turn off -- it would just give a very low flicker that I couldn't shut down. Otherwise - bright, sturdy, and just what I wanted.

I don't see any blems, though the casing seems a bit loose. This will be a good backup item for my other light source when backpacking. I like that it can clip to a hat/pack/tent pole. Red lamp is a nice feature too. Very bright.

I bought this headlamp to have as a backup to my waterproof and because it was so small, lightweight and inexpensive. Guess you get what you pay for. I only had it a few months when it became completely dysfunctional. When you close the battery door, it stays on all the time on a dim flashy setting. To turn it off, you have take the batteries out. The on/off button no longer has any function and even when the battery door is closed so that it is on, the light is not useful.
