“These binoculars are an excellent value, delivering more than acceptable performance. They compare well optically with my Pentax binos at a higher, non-discounted, price point. Close-focusing and and quick-focusing are excellent features. There's no apparent chromatic abberation. Some minor quibbles. The eye-point isn't high enough to use with glasses with the eye cups raised. There's some curvature of field but it's not noticeable in general use. There's some question as to whether they're phase coated or not; some advertising says "yes," some leaves it out. It's not a problem. I use these primarily for birding and recommend them highly.”
