Definately the best binoculars I have owned, but I have always used inexpensive brands before these. In the two weeks I have owned them I have used them about six times bow hunting and they have performed well. I was hoping for a little more light gathering capabilities in fading light, but they still are better than anything I have previously hunted with. I listed the fact that these come without objective lens covers as a con. The positive was that I emailed Minox and they shipped me a pair of flip down covers for free. That's good service!

I've been using these for big mountain mule deer hunting. You will not confuse these for Swarovski or Zeiss binos, but they are a great value for the money. They have been clear, bright optics, and build quality seems to be very good. Even if I do decide a top shelf $1000+ pair of glass are in my future, I'll keep these as loaners or to keep in the truck. I used them to ID a muley at 230 yards with antlers much smaller than his ears to fill my tag with about 3 minutes of usable light left on the last day of the season. No way I'd have been able to take the shot without these (I run a fixed 4x scope). There's no substitute for clear, bright binoculars to spot and check out deer at 400+ yards.

These binoculars are an excellent value, delivering more than acceptable performance. They compare well optically with my Pentax binos at a higher, non-discounted, price point. Close-focusing and and quick-focusing are excellent features. There's no apparent chromatic abberation. Some minor quibbles. The eye-point isn't high enough to use with glasses with the eye cups raised. There's some curvature of field but it's not noticeable in general use. There's some question as to whether they're phase coated or not; some advertising says "yes," some leaves it out. It's not a problem. I use these primarily for birding and recommend them highly.

I gave them 5 stars because I'm not a pro at ranking/grading binoculars, but from my amatuer perspective, they are an excellent buy. Very clear, easy to focus, they feel well constructed. After shopping in the store and touching many pair, I'm very satisfied with my decision!

I love these Bino's. I would have to say the high quality and GREAT LOW LIGHT clarity are appreciated. I wish I would have invested sooner. Don't think twice, these are great optics and a great value.

Probably the best binoculars you can get for the money. One of the smallest 10X42's I have seen. Great optics, on par with the Leicas, Zeiss, and Steiners. Great field of view, great with or without glasses, very sharp definition. Highly reccomend them.
