Good for watching indoor sport event too

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I use it to watch sport events. The wide view angle helps me locate easily the player who is in possession of the ball, and the 8 X magnification is good enough for seeing the face of the player clearly. It may be too bulky for opera, but the large objective lens diameter is good for dimly lit scene. The binoculars does not state clearly that it is made in Germany (assembled in China?), but the quality is pretty good.
