slipped them on right out of the pkg. and have worn them ever since! no break-in needed; very comfortable and no back aches or knee problems. I usually wear Frisky's similar shoe but these are much better due to the added flat textured rubber sole. Great canoe, river, lake or boat shoe. I wear them ALL the time. Get ready for stares or someone wanting to know where they can get a pair! I especially like the adjustable arch strap. I have small feet and can make these snug or loose. Only regret...they were in different colors or I'd bought several pairs! BUY THEM ... YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Wore these to go white water rafting. They were great as they are made to get wet. The river guides asked me who made the shoes and where I got them - they all wanted to get a pair. I liked the fact that they dried quickly once out of the water.

These are truly the most remarkable shoes I have ever owned. They fit my own particular needs as follows: Need a narrower rather than a wider shoe. These are narrower than Keene, and have adjustments. Arch support. These hold my foot in a secure way. Backless. I have spur on my heel so that I can't wear other style shoes. I even use these for my walking instead of walking shoes or athletic shoes. They have the support I am used to in athletic shoes. Also: They are good with or without socks. And are waterproof. I have three pairs. When I travel, these are the only shoes I need. They go from airport to pool to dinner. In the past they have been available in some different patterns that are very different, yet very attractive. Both men and women frequently comment on how they like my shoes and how do they get them. These shoes do not seem to be widely known. I hope they are not being discontinued.

I couldn't tell from picture that there was a rubber strap that fits between big toe and second toe, Making these more flip flops than slip on shoes, If the strap wasn't there I probably would have loved them, but because it was there I returned shoe due to lack of comfort, for me. My wife owns two pair without strap and loves them. C'est la vie!!

Bought for my husband, but they rubbed his toe wrong. Had to send back.

I did not realise they were thong sandals. This is not stated & it isn't obvious from the picts. I was able to alter them so that they work for me. I like the fact that they have an actual sole unlike Crocs.

Bought these to wear to the shore --- I now wear them everyday to work and around town. Haven't had a chance to do much hiking, but I feel confident that they'll do the job! They are ridiculously comfortable and the best part: my feet do not hurt after wearing them all day!

These shoe are great for informal parties or just knocking around the house. I wear them to the golf course, then change to golf shoes.
