ML Kessler Alpaca Inca Cardigan Sweater (For Women)

Could be larger in the body. Color beautiful and wool very soft.

I haven't worn this sweater yet but love the look and the color.

Bought it for my wife and she'll love it.

The pumpkin color is a cinnamon spiced cooked pumpkin color, with the same geometric Inca pattern as the other colors. The sweater is a medium weight, soft as alpaca can come, meaning if you are very sensitive, you'll want a long sleeve shirt underneath, otherwise, it's just fine. A classic shape, it's perfect for throwing on over my work clothes when I need to step outside for errands, and dressy enough to wear to church. It will be perfect for chilly autumn mornings.

Had button come off first time I wore it. Otherwise fine.

I am short, so length is not an issue. Taller people may prefer more length. I tried on the sweater when the weather was warm here, and I quickly had to take it off, as it was too hot. It should be adequate for most weather in the Los Angeles area.

I sent back the small because it was too short in the sleeves and tight in the chest so the buttons gapped . The medium fits in sleeve length and is roomy enough so the buttons don't gap . The covered buttons are still a tight fit. I suspect that might be an issue in the future. I might change out the buttons when I need to. The medium sweater has shoulder seams are not lined up with my shoulders. It look like a drop shoulder sweater but I don't think that is intentional. I'm keeping it anyway because I like the color, the pattern and soft (itch free for me) alpaca. I am also hoping that if this sweater gets washed it will shrink a bit and might just fit just right. A little big is better than a little small.

The color and pattern of this sweater was a nice surprise. I was expecting a bright red and it is more crimson. The weave is nice. The alpaca fleece is soft. I love alpaca Unfortunately the small is small. I am 5'1 and the sleeves were still short. the length otherwise was ok. The buttons are tight. and the chest was a bit tight on the small . I like the sweater enough to order a medium though and perhaps eventually replace the buttons as other reviewers have. If you are a cusp size order up.

I have been wearing it over a blue cotton turtleneck sweater, and the light blue picks up the light blue in the Alpaca sweater. It is a great duo.

As someone else had said, a button fell off after I had only worn this about two hours. I sewed that one back and fixed another that seemed loose. Other than that, it is a nice sweater and I like it. The blue is a nice color.
