Closeouts. The Peruvian-inspired patterns on ML Kessler’s melange zip sweater are a thoughtful nod to its origins in Lima, Peru; the place where it was carefully hand knit by local artisans. A beautiful melange pattern adds colorful distinction to the soft alpaca knit, made of hollow fibers that naturally insulate, are incredibly sustainable and are more durable than wool.

    A great sweater--soft, cozy, warm, colorful but coordinates well with many colors, nice drape and neat appearance. I would caution taller women (I'm 5'1") that the sleeves might be a little short. On me, they are perfect.

    Haven't washed it (or dry cleaned) so hard to comment on how it washes. It looks great. The sleeves fit but its a close fit. If you want to wear layers, be aware that its best for a t-shirt underneath - or buy the next size up.

    Got complements immediately when I put it on. it is thin but warm. . I have used it when I teach and have to be with the children on the playground in the chilly morning. I got the size medium because I wanted to layer underneath. The small would have probably fit but might have been snug in places. I didn't want to take that chance. I am a muscular size 8 34b top and 5'1'. It is a longer hip length sweater on me. Because it is longer and not snug, I discovered it fit over my blazer and looks alright. It might look a little "school marm" but then thats what I am. I have the glasses and everything =) This alpaca sweater is soft, and doesn't itch me. The primary blue and brown tones will go with almost my whole wardrobe. I like the pattern on the sleeves. There is a small yarn/ knitting flaw on the pocket that I will have to repair soon. I still really like the sweater!
