ML Kessler Open-Front Cardigan Sweater - Alpaca (For Women)

I love this sweater. It is comfortable: warm, but lightweight and not bulky. It seems well made. I plan to take it on a business trip because it will pack easily and look fine during our meetings and keep me warm while I'm walking outside. I only wish it were available in more colors. (Black is useful, but just a little boring!)

Gray color is lovely and wished I had ordered a black one, too.

Very disappointed. From the website/catalog picture, this looks like it is fitted at the waist and has an even hemline. I love the neckline style so ordered this sweater in three colors. From the front, they all looked fantastic and the hem was between waist and hip at a flattering length. The cardigan was not shaped at the waist, but again that looked good from the front. From the back, the hem was several inches longer and scooped and grabbed the butt. It was like this on all three sweaters. A very poor styling choice! I returned all the sweaters[...] I will be way more careful about ordering in the future since the catalog description left out some key information.

I wanted a sweater to wear around the house, which I keep rather cool. This is substantial and quite warm enough, without the bulk of wool. I can moderate the temp by pulling the edges closer or farther apart. The heather grey does not show cat hair! (My cats are grey.) The only thing is that it hugs my rear end, good for keeping warm, but the pulling-in of the bottom edge might make some self-conscious (some not!) in social settings. The same edging at the sleeve ends makes it easy to push sleeves up and have them stay.

I love this sweater! It's very stylish and goes with either pants or a skirt. The word Alpaca in the description is what got me to try it. I have one other alpaca sweater which I love as well!
