Mondaine Travel Alarm - Folding Leather Pouch

Good swiss watch movement but almost useless as an alarm clock because of extremely faint sound.

Great, well made clock. Looks good. Can be difficult to set time and alarm but once set it works well.

This is a small, elegant, seemingly tough travel alarm. The two things essential in a travel alarm are that the alarm setting is unambiguous and that it is reliable. This alarm meets the first criteria but fails on the second. I am returning it in hopes that I just received a rare dud because it is attractive in other respects.

Very excellent quality travel alarm for the discriminating traveler. This is more than just a travel time piece it is a statement about the person. Only buy this clock if you want the type of travel alarm that goes with your solid oak trunk, your leather bags and your espresso machine.

Amazing design. Just what I was looking for in a travel alarm.

I used same brand (non-alarm)watch for years without problems. This too is a well made watch. Easy to read and set the time and the alarm. HOWEVER, the alarm duration is about 15 seconds and alarm volume low. Alarm feature is not useful for me.

The alarm time is set by pulling out the tiny slick stem on the top of the clock. The knob is slick, small and somewhat hard to adjust. The leather of the case is also in the way of this adjustment. Normally this is not a big problem, 'cause I keep the alarm set at the same time, but it is hard to adjust. But the big problem was that the alarm was not loud enough to wake me up! Otherwise it was a classy, well made, smart looking (better in person than in photo) alarm clock. I would warn potential buyers of this quiet alarm, as it does not get louder over time.
