Mondaine Travel Alarm with Photo Frame

This a beautifully designed clock, which will stay at home, since it is a little too heavy to take on trips. I liked its design so much that I bought it, knowing fully well that the numbers are invisible in the dark; to remedy this, I have a tiny flashlight that I shine on the clock, so I can see the time. On all other accounts I am delighted w/ this clock.

The clock look great, has a very sturdy housing which protects it in a suitcase. This works against the clock I believe in cold climates as it super cools the mechanism. Once it has frozen, the clock does not keep accurate time. The numbers and hands are difficult to see, it is too heavy for travel with present day airline luggage weight restrictions and freezes easily in sub zero environs. I have purchased several of these clocks and found them all faulty after several trips.

This is a terrific looking little clock--it's sleek and substantial and I love the look. Unfortunately, I found that at night I could not see the numbers or the clocks hands no matter how close I held it. This, for me, fairly well rendered the clock useless as an alarm clock. Such a shame.

easy to read ease to change battery good looking

Nice chunk of metal, beautifully finished, nice leather pouch. It has sharp corners, and edges, but it is easy to use and when you put a photo in, it is really cute. Do not drop it on your foot!
