    I was afraid this might be one of those puffy down jackets, but it's only mildly that way. Although it would work as a bad-weather jacket (warmth, water repellent fabric, zipper under the snaps, wind-proof sleeves), there's enough style for it to be a little dressy, and could be worn day or night. Oddly, the label says the outer fabric is poly/cotton, but it looks and feels like a basic nylon parka fabric.
