    As I said, after one or two weeks of use, the leather loop used to 'button' the coat broke as it was being used. I will have to return the coat, and hopefully get it replaced.

    There is good reason the Royal Navy wore these in the North Atlantic and the desert raiding groups wore them in North Africa during world war two: they're resilient & warm. It also helps the style is timeless. You just can't go wrong.

    I had to return the coat because they do not make a size to fit me. I'm a size 46R in a sport coat. This coat fit well except the sleeves were way too short. A tall would not fit right in the body. I'm 6' tall.

    Coat is superbly made overall but does run about one full size too large. I normally wear a 42R but had to return the originally received 42R for a 40R which fits perfectly.
