    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This boot design was the culmination of thousands of foot measurements at 'the company that made them' before they were bought by 'another company'. Yes, it fits narrow and also very low volume. This is a direct relationship with reducing internal movement in the heel. These boots are for all the people i've measured that are long, thin, and really hard to fit. Just ask any of them as a good chunk of the major boot makers are making wider fitting boots. Bottom Line: These boot are ridiculously awesome for the right fit. Good for dayhikes and 50lbs loads for multiple days in wet conditions. Add yer gaiters, footbed of choice and it's totally on. Great for edging, rockslide telemarking, and rocking out! PS: Ankles come stiff, so modify with rubbing bar

    All around hunter, Casual/Recreational
    Sizing:
    Feels true to size

These are exceptional quality except for the width. I am a C width and thes suckers feel too small for me. That's actually why I bought them. Not sure if they will ever break in to fit me. I still may have to send them back and exchange for bigger "wider" ones. I would suggest NOT buying them unless you have a B width foot.

These things went above and beyond what I expected out of them. I purchased them when moving to Juneau, AK and they have not disappointed. I initiated them in on a 12 mile overnight hike with plenty of bush-wacking. They needed no breaking in. There was rain and mud and puddles but nothing got through. This is my first pair of gore-tex boot and I doubt I'll go back.
