Montrail Cruiser Climbing Shoes (For Men and Women)

I wore this shoe on long free routes from slabs to vertical and they worked well.

I really love these shoes, despite the criticism of shoe-snob friends. For the balance of having comfort and a touch more support under the heel, these are the best shoes I've owned (out of 6 pairs). The rubber is good and sticks really well. The fit is comfortable for an hour or more even though I bought a 42 and my normal street shoe is a 43. I wish I could find another pair in my size. For the money these can't be beat. In fact I'm considering paying more to resole them than I originally paid for them! I climb 11s consistently inside and 10s outside, and never blame these shoes for any problems. I have had OTHER shoes that I've consistently blamed for falls, so don't doubt these just because they're so inexpensive.

I got these for my sister who hasn't done much climbing but wanted to give it a try so I didn't want to spend too much. These are great shoes for the price and an awesome beginner climbing shoe. They fit my sister perfectly and she is a women's 7 with a regular width foot.

I have used my Montrail Cruiser climbing shoes only once so far but I was able to smear effectively on an indoor climbing wall. My feet have a fairly wide ball but a narrow heel. These shoes provide coverage and support where I need it.

Great shoe for the price! If you don't wear them enough to justify the Big $'s these shoes are great! Break in well, adjust well, climb great! I have a pair for the both of us and they are perfect. Losen the heel straps, and you can even stand to belay in them when it's your turn.

I got these to replace an older worn-out pair. Feel happy on my feet and flexible!

This is a great introductory or program shoe.

They fit and grip well but the sole started separating after only a few uses. Still, they were cheap.

Shoe does stretch (fits tight but stretched out after only 1 use). Very comfortable. Good deal for the money.
