Have only had these for a few days. Yet, have been comfortable from the start. Unlike other Montrail shoes I have recently purchased through STP, these more so fit true to advertised size. Look forward to see how they perform on an off-trail hike in moderate terrain.

Very pleased with this pair of shoes. They give me better support around the foot than any shoe I have ever owned.

After ordering the same size time after time, regardless of the shoe model, this one came, and obviously, someone/something in production has changed the footbed sizing and overall engineering of these shoes. I am disappointed and will be sending these shoes back. At one time the fit and quality process from Montrail was very consistent. That aspect seems to have, or has, changed. These are the second pair of shoes that I am sending back in the last 6 months.

I wear these shoes almost everyday, and find them unusually comfortable. I had almost given up on Montrail after a pair of Hardrocks I purchased began feeling like 3/4 inch plywood. This Flow model is simply wonderful: comfortable, stylish, grippy and dependable. And, of course, I wish I could find a 11.5. I ordered the 12, and find them okay, but about 1/2 size large. I will take these to Alaska this summer for a large backcountry shakedown. Great shoe!

I was looking for a shoe to replace my old trail running/ light hiking boots and came across these. I am pleased with them so far, though they are a a little big in the toe box area and are pretty stiff. I've warn them everyday since I got them, and after about a week they are starting to break in. they appear to be made with quality in mind and look like they could stand up to a pretty good beating. I really like the rubberized protection over the toe. If you are thinking about getting a pair of these I suggest going for a slighly smaller size that you would normally purchase.

These were bought for an upcoming trip to Zion N.P. I have been looking and reading reviews for a couple months now while looking for the right deal to match my needs. I have a wide foot and wear a 10.5. I wanted to make sure that there would be enough room to wear heavy or two pair of socks while still being comfortable. I also needed something a little stiff for some spring backpacking on the A.T. I think I have found my shoe. All that said, I am happy so far and will update after Angels Landing.

If you were disappointed with the 2008 and 2009 Hard Rocks, this is the shoe that will re-establish your confidence in Montrail.

I love the style of these shoes but the best part is the comfort. I am also impressed by the gryptonite soles. I go hiking, disc'n and trail running and they seem to work great for everything.
