No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“Overall, the shoe is great: fit, comfort, stability, breathability, and of course, price. Nonetheless, the 'cleats' on the bottom wear really fast, and this is what makes it average, at best. Granted, I wore my pair quite frequently and I walk most everywhere, so your milage may vary. I'd imagine the shoe would be great for off-road running as the traction is pretty good, but it may be a bit too soft for some.”
