“Have worn the first pair steadily, even on long day hikes. I guess you either love em or hate em, judging by the reviews. I bought 2nd pair for the bright colors. I would not say they run a full 1/2 size large. They are styled narrow through the toe and forefoot like approach shoes, but I'm between a 9.5-10 and there's plenty of room in the 10 for heavier socks. Heavily padded ankle looks a little odd at first (kind of like a skate shoe), but turns out to be really comfortable.”
