Montrail Maka Sandals - Slides (For Women)

I am always looking for slides that are comfortable for summer wear. These fit the bill, and are non-leather and stylish. They stay on the foot. The band across the toes stretched as I wore them. I did heat them in the oven, but I can't say if I noticed that much difference in the pre-post heat fit! They are not "clunky", so they look good with shorts or skirts. The little bit of leave design just adds a bit of interest (I have the red and black sandals), but is not overpowering. More support than a regular flip-flop, but not sturdy like a cork bottom or shoe.

I have narrow feet, and the band across the top of the foot fits great -- most other sandals are very loose around my foot. If you have wider or higher volume feet, it might feel tight. I am a size 6.5 to 7 and I got size 8, which is a tad too big -- size 7 would have fit.

Although these are good looking, they slide right off your feet despite being really narrow. You start walking, they start sliding until you walk right out of them. Comfortable otherwise, but unusable for me.

I kept these and cut off the top of the shoes. Not very attractive.

I have narrow feet, but I can't jam them all the way into these sandals, even though I bought them a half size larger than my usual size. And one side is even tighter than the other. Can't use them.
