Cost at STP makes these worthwhile. More discriminating buyers should be spending twice as much for some of the expectations here. This is a fine all around everyday shoe.

Read the reviews and ordered up from a 10.5 to an 11; still way too small

Firm support and good sole protection plate. Montrails usually are the most durable of trail shoes. These are fair to good on snow.

i bought these shoes for my husband. He usually wears 11 or 11 1/2. I had to send them back and get a size 12. they look a little tight, but he says they feel good. These are his: walk the dogs, rake the yard, run errands shoes.

I bought these shoes for Disc Golf and they did not disappoint. They are lightweight, comfortable, stable, and best of all provide excellent traction for shots from uneven ground. I got the orange color and, while it may not be for everyone, I love the styling.

I have gone through many pair of Montrail trail running shoes and have always been satisfied with the quality and fit. The Nitrus had a lot of extra material inside the base of the tongue that caused a blister on my foot. The Griptonite sole started to come off after one run. I think Montrail's quality may be compromised - too bad because they used to be about the best shoe in the market.
