They are very light, good looking shoes, however, after trying both the recommended 1/2 size larger and my normal size (10), the right shoe in both sizes just kept rubbing on my little toe to the point that I just couldn't be comfortable with them and had to return them a second time. The left shoe was good, and I've never had this problem with other shoes. I tied them with the stock insole, and with a heavier orthopedic type insole, and it made no difference. I tried different weight socks. No difference. My conclusion is that the shoes are made in such a way that the sides slope too sharply upward/inward. Anyway, they don't work for me. Good luck with what is a highly reviewed/rated shoe but may not be right for you.

This is a top quality shoe. I use these as casual shoes as my casual might be around the house, on a trail, just about anywhere and I can wear this shoe for that. Its comfortable, fits as it should.

Asked on 2/2/2012 12:00:00 AM by Mark from Wisconsin
    • Answer Mark,|I would recommend something more like a Chaco, Keen or Teva shoe. The Rockridge is more of a hiking/train running shoe.
