Great mixed terrain/light trail runner

Finally retired my Montrail Hardrocks (07 vintage) and got these. I love this shoe for the type of running I am doing now. The Hardrocks were a great trail shoe, bombproof really; but a bit on the heavy side for what I am doing now. The running I am doing now is mostly all dirt/gravel/sand road stuff here on camp. There are lots of loose stones on the road surfaces so having the stone guard protection was very important to me as well as the traction of a trail runner. Stability seems right on with these and cushioning is good. I am a pretty neutral foot with average arch. The shoes are light and very comfortable. I use A-line inserts in all my footwear and have no trouble with them in these. These shoes do run about a half size large; I normally wear a 9.5 and got 9's in these and they are perfect. Toe box is nice and roomy, heel is secure. I have really no faults with these shoes so far.
