“I bought these to replace a pair of Montrail boots that had finally kicked the bucket. These are much heavier than my last pair, which was disappointing. However, the trade off is that they're VERY stable, warm, and dry. They took about 5-10 miles to be broken in, and since then no blisters. For hiking in the winter, these are a great option.”
