These are great boots, the most comfortable footwear I own. I have used them hiking in the California White mountains, mountain hiking in Spain, and at work standing/walking on cement floors for 12 hour shifts... they never let my feet down and my new ones are just as comfy.

I just wore these boots for the first time -today the 4th of December 2009. I was waiting for snow, and we got a bit overnight. The only drawback I can feel so far, is the weight of the boots. They do seem a bit heavy on my feet. I wore them for several hours -no hiking, just running errands around town. They did seem comfortable, and I hope they will continue to be.

I bought these to replace a pair of Montrail boots that had finally kicked the bucket. These are much heavier than my last pair, which was disappointing. However, the trade off is that they're VERY stable, warm, and dry. They took about 5-10 miles to be broken in, and since then no blisters. For hiking in the winter, these are a great option.

I have used these on day hikes so far and I am very satisfied with them. I am very happy with the way they feel and with how good they have done when crossing creeks and walking in wet areas and mud. I have crossed in water that was almost to the top of the boot and they did great! There was not a long break in period either, maybe a few 2-3 mile hikes and now they are good for longer hikes. They are very comfortable but I did replace the insoles. I have thin feet and wanted a little extra padding. The shoes are true to size but I got a half size bigger because I wear medium to heavy trekking socks. The size was my biggest debate when purchasing these shoes. I'm very happy that I went with a half size bigger than my normal shoe size. I think this is a great price for these shoes as well. They have done great so far. I have not used them on overnight hikes yet or in weather colder then 60 degrees but I plan it soon. Overall I really like these shoes alot!

They are waterproof! That was my biggest concern and they are great. They are comfortable though a little heavy. I am very pleased with them. I hike about an hour a day with my dogs and they have been very good so far.
