“Slips on wet rock, ice, logs, pretty much anything other then grass dirt or mud. The synthetic front has worn through where my toe creases and there is nothing keeping water from getting in seeing how the gortex lining has worn through as well. These shoes were a good for day hike on a trail, and around the city, except for ice. The sole is pretty stiff and unforgiving.”
