    I got these for wearing around town with an active life (two small kids who like to be outdoors). I was looking for a cooler ventilated shoe good for the warm southern California summers. They fit the bill. Also good is the snug, glove-like tongue-less fit. I have the Montrail CTC's as well for backcountry climbing approaches and it's a good design.
