I mainly boulder. Great bouldering shoe and quick sport routes, I have a smaller left foot, so this shoe molded just as I hoped. Better than Madrock, less than 5.10. Rubber lasted long enough. Recommend, quick on/off, comfortable, cheap (in a good way).Con: Velcro wears in time, feet turn green! (like it matters).

Bought these a few months ago, worked great at first i sized down a full size and they fit perfect but now they have stretched at least a half a size (suprizing for synth). Rubber sticks great edging and smearing but does NOT last long I already wore through the sole at the front. would be good if only used outside but in the gym they get abused. i climb at least three times a week though so i have abused them ALOT.

I bought true to size and they are pretty tight, although for climbing when I curl by toe it is perfect, I just have to take them off while waiting. But they work really well for climbing.

I had to order a half size larger in the Wasabi's than in my other montrail shoes, just FYI. other than that they look like great shoes. mostly just wanted to let you know about the sizing, order up.

The last is pretty spot on, but the agressive downturn means that these are not the best shoe for long climbs... they might break into more comfortable, but after a few sessions, this has not happened. But it ain't really the reason I got these. The synthetic uppers means little to no strech. only major con I can think of these shoes is the fact that the rubber Montrail uses doesn't seem to like to be resoled (tried Stealth, Vibram and MadRubber)... but at this price, who's complaining.

I got it in the 41.5 at first (my sportiva size). Ended up at 43 with a perfect fit. No inside slipping; the shoe stays put to the point where you don't think about it. But no pinch or pain, well designed to hold tight. And the rubber is as good as any I've tried. So far just bouldering with it; Don't think I'll try cracking as the buckles go too far down the front. It isn't a stiff shoe, but neither a slipper. Sits inbetween, which is perfect for me (comfort yet supportive of my permanently broken toe)

These shoes have good grip on small foot holds and are relatively comfortable for climbing shoes

I have had many pairs of climbing shoes, none this comfortable and smears so well on the wall. I am extremely pleased with them. I wear 36.5 for street shoes, 38 in these fit me perfectly (but we all know how street shoes size doesn't translate into climbing shoes size).

This is a great shoe to get in and out of, the fit is pretty good despite being narrower than some Montrails I've had in the past. They are more breathable than the all leather shoes, and the rubber is already scuffed making the slippy time when you first get them not as bad.
