It's 100% wool in a neutral/natural color, so period correct for almost any time. I may have to cut the tassel endie dealies off. People didn't waste wool on purely ornamental features like that 200+ years back.

Looks like a good quality blanket, but I cannot give something I don't want to use it for myself. May be good for extra layer for a very cold night or something, but not for something you want to have next to your skin.
